Earlier last week I took some great bridal shots with Amy at Camp Williams. I had never been to the officer’s club before, but the place was great. It has a really cool stone exterior. Awesome place. Then week took some at my studio also.
I recently got a new camera, the canon original 5d, and needed to try it out. Once a month I go to a meetup with photographers and models. This month we went to the old Sinclair Gas Station in American Fork. There were a lot of cool old cars and motorcycles. There were also a lot of fun models there. I had a great time.
Here are some of the pics. You can see all of my pics in my gallery here.
The other day it was my day off at work, and I was just sitting around really doing nothing. My friend randomly called me and said we should go take some pics. So I was like what the heck it sounds fun. So we went to my studio and took some pics. She brought her camera too so I taught her how to use it and she took a few pics of me too. I also busted out some fun props that I hadn’t used before.
This month for Provo Creative meetup we went to a parking garage. The weather was kind of lame, it was a little rainy and cold. But we still got some great photos. There were also some cool brick walls near by. Thanks a bunch girls and Pete.
You may think that you have to go to super far way exotic locations to get great pictures, but the truth is you can find great stuff in your own “backyard”. I was exploring around Eagle Mountain where I live and came across some great locations. I found these really cool looking pipes.
I also found this abandoned mink farm that was pretty awesome.
Moral of the story look around and you’ll find something cool.
Last week I shoot a fun shoot with Angie at the studio and around Eagle Mountain. Its fun to discover locations in your own backyard. We found this really cool old car.

On Tuesday Provo Creative a local photography group met up. We went up to the castle at the Utah State Hospital. The grounds here were super great. The light was super beautiful and so were the models.
Here are some of my favorite pics. You can see more here.
