$75 for a regular individual portrait session. We can do a location or studio shoot. Limited to 2 hrs, i will travel in Utah Country for free but if I have to leave there I will charge some gas money. It includes your pick of 20 digital files. Regularly $100

What has Torsten Been up to?

I bet you all have been wondering what I have been up to. Well some times it hard to remember what I have done.

I have been doing a lot product like photography for my new adventure with outdoor gear reviews. Mainly shoes so far but I hope to start reviewing lots of different things like stoves to sleeping bags.

I have also shot photographs of people because I like people.

I did a fun shoot with Kailialee and her mum Angel. Oh and you know these girls are wearing tube tops you know.

Shot another studio session

I went to a photographer/model meetup, those are always fun.

I did a fun session up Payson Canyon

I shot Black and White a fun event

Headshot Shoot {Utah Photographer}

Yesterday I got together with some actors and some other photographers and busted out some totally awesome head shots.
I would really like to thank Shaun Mitchell of Oakhill Studios showing me the ropes of head shots.
I would also like to thank Sue Rowe of Sue Rowe Studios in Kaysville for putting this together.

Head shots are all about the eyes. The eyes are what really bring the viewer in. So make sure your eyes are legit, haha.
With my head shots I like to have real emotion not a face cheesy smile, but capture the true essence of the person.
It also matters what you are using the head shot for, are you an actor who is wanting a more dramatic feel, or a commercial type fun really open look?

Kitty’s Maternity Session {Provo Utah Photographer}

Lately I have been shooting at this fun abandoned house. It is super cool and full of graffiti and stuff. This last session we did was a maternity session. Kitty is 6 months along so we might do another one down the road. We had a lot of fun, we even ran to Harmon’s to satisfy her cookie cravings haha.

I have been to this place a few times before and have never seen another person, but today we saw some random kids there. Kitty asked them “hey are you guys smoking” and they looked at each other and ran away it was pretty funny.

Alexa and the Camaro {Provo Photographer}

Today I had a really fun shoot with my friend Alexa. As most my shoots usually go I hear like 5 hrs in advance come shoot me haha. One of her friends writes articles about cars and gets a different one each week. Well this time he got a new Chevy 2011 Camaro. So boom there we are with Alexa, I and the Camero. The Rain was kind of lame most of the day so we weren’t sure how it would go but it let up just for long enough. I only got like 30 mins with Alexa and the Camaro but I think we got some great pics.

Yesterday I took some promo portraits for some of my friends at UVUSA for there election campaign.

Sam wanted some high fashion like stuff and here is one of the ones I got of him.

Hobble Creek Canyon {Utah Photographer}

I recently went up Hobble Creek with a lovely model Ashtyn Mackey. We had a lot of fun, she was super fun and laided back and knew how to take direction. She even climbed on a crazy model pile in the middle of the river. We had some great times.
