Mini Photo Session Giveaway

From now to july 9th 2011 I will be running a contest on my Facebook page. I will be giving away a one hr mini photo session. This shoot could be use for any kind of shoot you want, do you need senior portraits, do you want to get some photos for modeling portfolio, need some fun couple photos, or just just pain love your photo being taken. This contest is for you.

Here is how the contest works,

1. Like TorBang Photography, and Jantzen the Makeup aritst on Facebook.
2. Post a pic of yourself on the wall of Torbang Photography and in the caption write why you want to do a shoot
3. Get as many likes on the photo as you can before july 9th 2011 at 11:59 pm.
4. But this in your Facebook status, “Win a 1hr mini photo session from TorBang Photography with make up provied by Jantzen Rees, go here for full details http://bit.ly/mskYRf ”

The person with the most likes wins.

Simple as that, just make sure to have it all done by july 9th 2011 by 11:59pm

The winners will be announced on Monday July 11th 2011.

The winner will have a choice of open dates in July and August 2011. The location must be in Utah County, or you can give me some gas monies to go out of utah county. The winner will receive 20-30 images to use for any personal use. Makeup will be provided by Jantzen

Albums and stuff

I went to las vegas for a couple weeks ago for a really cool photography conference.

At this conference they had a really big trade show and a lot of vendors were giving out studio samples.

I just my first sample album.

I also got some cool new business cards and a cool mosaic frame

and it came in this really nice box

I also got some cool prints I got a Metal Print and a Thin Wrap

Here is what it looks like.

I really like these prints because they don’t require a frame and just float of the wall.

The Salt Flats Adventure

Yesterday my photo group ventured out to the salt flats. We started our adventure out first at the Provo Town Center Mall, then we caravanned on our way to the salt flats. 30 mins out of Tooele the van I was riding in broke down, so our caravan continued on with out us leaving one driver to take us, we sat and waited for the tow truck. We then got to the salt flats finding that some one had got stuck in the mud, so we spent all of time trying to get them out, another car got stuck trying to get them out. I was able to grab a few pics but the day did not go as planned.

But here are some choice pics.

Portrait Session Giveaway

I am doing a new contest/giveaway on Facebook. I will be giving away one free portrait session. It can be a Engagements, Bridals, Seniors, Headshots, or a regular old portrait session.

Last week I shoot a fun shoot with Angie at the studio and around Eagle Mountain. Its fun to discover locations in your own backyard. We found this really cool old car.

On Tuesday Provo Creative a local photography group met up. We went up to the castle at the Utah State Hospital. The grounds here were super great. The light was super beautiful and so were the models.
